Rustin P. Diehl grew up in Brigham City, and graduated from the University of Utah, College of Law in 2007.  As an attorney and counselor, Rustin focuses his practice on estate planning and small business law.  Rustin is a member of the Utah State Bar’s Business, Elder Law, and Estate Planning Sections. He is involved in Utah’s legislative review process where he promotes laws favorable to his clients and stays abreast of changes that impact his practice area.

Rustin frequently associates with the nation’s top estate planning attorneys and financial professionals and has published articles on popular legal and estate planning forums and websites. He is a frequent speaker, participant, and contributor in seminars, educational events, and continuing education programs.

Rustin brings his practical knowledge of business, finance and estates into representing his clients. He has clerked for the Utah Attorney General and was an extern to a Federal District Court Judge.  Prior to his legal career, he was involved Utah’s real estate, business, and private equity scenes.  He has successfully funded, operated and sold several businesses and real estate properties.

When Rustin is not representing his clients or serving as volunteer legal counsel for Utah’s Branch of the Civil Air Patrol (US Air Force Auxiliary), you can find his wife Kelsi and him climbing, skiing, bicycling, or fly fishing.
