Dynasty and Legacy Design

Estates of substance have the unique opportunity to continue beyond the life of the original owner. When embodied in a trust, an estate is a sort of second life, and the dynasty can benefit persons or organizations beyond the life of the dynasty maker.  In some cases, the trust can support loved ones or loved causes almost into perpetuity.

However, many sizable estates have been destroyed at the hands of taxing authorities or fallen victims to lawsuits. Those wishing to plan for dynasty and legacy continuity must plan carefully for both lifetime and intergenerational taxes and liability. Our long-term outlook on the future of trusts greatly influences Allegis Law’s approach to Dynasty and Legacy planning.
